ABOUT
The DanceBARN ScreenDANCE Festival takes place every year during the DanceBARN Festival in Battle Lake, MN. Official selections for the ScreenDANCE Festival are presented during a free outdoor screening at the ArtSTREAM Alley in Battle Lake, Minnesota. Any screendances made during the festival also premiere during the showing.
New this year, we are excited to welcome a panel of local jurors who will help select this year's screenings. We have also added a discounted submission category for screendances made in Minnesota!
RULES & TERMS
DanceBARN seeks screendance submissions under 15 minutes in length, made for the screen. Submissions must, in some way, employ both choreographic concepts and the language of film. Documentation of live performances will not be accepted.
Submission of films and supplementary documentation must take place exclusively through FilmFreeway. Selected films must provide a high-quality download of their film, artist bios, 1-2 screenshots or production photos, and as much supplementary information about the film as possible.
Artists must have copyright permissions for all submitted media and be able to demonstrate these rights upon request. By submitting, the artists grant DanceBARN the right to screen the film for the duration of the festival and agree to indemnify and hold DanceBARN harmless from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities arising from any copyright disputes.

Earlybird Deadline: April 15, 2020 - $10
Regular Deadline: May 31, 2020 - $20
Extended Deadline: June 30, 2020 - $30
